There are many tips out there that will help increase your ability to visualize. Here, you will find many of those tips.
1) The first step to visualization when you start the exercises is to say what you want to see out loud. Doing so will help make the visualization process more real and easier to accomplish. It is important to make visualization easy right at the beginning to ensure that you do not get bored with it. Many people experiment with visualization, and when they are not immediately successful, they quit. However, if you put into words what you want to see, you should be able to accomplish the task more easily. Many people lack the creativity to verbalize what they wish to visualize, so they may read something and put it into practice. For example, you may read about a walk through the forest. Once you read about it, you should then close your eyes and recap what you just read. As you do it, you should use all of your senses in order to feel as if you are the person that is taking the walk through the forest. 2) It is important to visualization that you use as many senses as possible when it comes to seeing something. The more senses that you use, the more real that the visualization will be. 3) When you practice visualization, you should try to only think positive thoughts. It is important that you always visualize in a positive manner. If you fail to visualize in a positive manner, you could be taking a chance at risking a negative outcome. You should picture yourself exactly as you wish to picture yourself. Do not sell yourself short, even in visualization. 4) When you are trying to implement visualization techniques into your daily regime, it is very important that you practice often. The more often that you practice, the better you will get at it. It is important, in the beginning, that you practice visualization until you are completely comfortable with it. Once you are comfortable with the process of visualization, you can then begin to practice it when you see fit. 5) When you start your visualization session, it is very important that you make sure that you have a quiet area, with no distractions. This will enable you to concentrate and visualize in the most efficient manner possible. You should make sure that you are totally relaxed and that you can focus. You should devote anywhere between 15 and 30 minutes a day to practicing visualization until you are comfortable. Once you are comfortable, you can then begin to practice at the times and days that are most suitable for you.
